Overview

SMPD Originals is a private, owner-operated content production and YouTube automation dashboard. The application uses Google OAuth to connect the owner's YouTube account so YouTube connectivity can be verified and, only if later explicitly enabled, used for production publishing workflows.

Google OAuth and YouTube access

When you connect YouTube, the app may access the authenticated YouTube channel according to the scopes you grant during Google OAuth. Current OAuth connectivity is used to verify channel identity, token health, and future upload readiness.

Google OAuth tokens are stored securely server-side. Tokens are not stored in browser localStorage, shown in the dashboard, committed to Git, sold, or shared with advertisers.

Publishing safety

Connecting a YouTube account does not by itself publish, upload, schedule, or modify videos. The app does not upload or publish unless YouTube upload and publishing features are explicitly enabled by the owner.

Disconnecting access

You can disconnect YouTube access from the dashboard. You may also revoke the app's Google access from your Google Account security settings. Disconnecting does not delete or modify existing YouTube videos.
